Burnout has become a serious concern and costs the US $2 billion in healthcare costs alone. A survey by Deloitte of 1,000 full-time U.S. professionals reveals that 77% experienced burnout in their current job, with more than half reporting multiple occurrences. This figure rises to 84% among millennials. Likewise, a recent global survey by Microsoft found that 50% of employees and 53% of managers reported burnout.
Following 20 years of research, Dr. André Walton's Banish Burnout programs, validated by fMRI research, bring relief to burnout victims in record time by creating new neural pathways. This refreshing new way to view the world opens the mind to new options, breaks unhealthy thinking patterns and brings happiness and a more balanced life.
There are two Banish Burnout options. The Supernova program was created to help those with serious or intermediate burnout, whereas, the Stella program is for those in the early stages of burnout or who feel stressed for most of the time or who suffer from anxiety. For reasons explained below, both of these programs require an interview prior to acceptance.

Thinking analytically has its place, but creative thinking is a core human drive (we don't have the iPhone, the jet engine or the internet just because we have opposable thumbs!) It is the course of our social evolution!.
Redressing the balance between these two thinking styles brings higher Emotional Intelligence, better decision making and greater happiness, as shown by scientific research. This is Spherical Thinking™ and is the key to the success of our Banish Burnout programs.

Our Supernova Banish Burnout program combines our unique Spherical Thinking™ process to relieve the debilitating suffering that burnout can bring with the creative thinking that is associated with greater emotional intelligence and resilience. Freed from the burden of burnout, stress and anxiety, our mission is to help you discover new strengths, overcome obstacles, and feel empowered .
In the early sessions of this program we develop three customized coaching components to pursue during the next six months (The 3 Ps):
Month 1. We start by establishing where you are on our Wellbeing Index. As you progress through your journey from burnout to supernova we use this index to track your progress and help us plan the details of your next steps. We work with you twice a week on your custom 3Ps plan in analyzing the root causes of your burnout and on addressing the symptoms. Our goal is for you to re-gain healthy dietary and sleep patterns, and to address other specific symptoms of burnout (such as pulling back from those close to you) that may represent hurdles in your ongoing journey to become the person you want to be.
Month 2. In our weekly sessions we continue to help you develop positive habits and eliminate those that are not working for you. Following your custom 3Ps plan we strengthen activities that you report as being powerful and helpful and guide you towards eliminating factors that are not in your best interests. We also track your progress on the Wellbeing Index and begin to work with you in setting longer term goals and short term, mini-goals for you to work towards between sessions.
Month 3. Everyone is different when it comes to burnout, stress and anxiety, but our goal is that by the beginning of Month 3 you will be enjoying a dramatically better life than when you joined the program. However, there are still important components of the program to pursue. In particular you have free access to two important workshops:
1. It is important that you take steps to protect your newly found wellbeing, and ensure protection from sliding back into stress, anxiety or burnout. This workshop will help you protect yourself from this.
2. Both at work and at home burnout can be contagious. Those people close to you can find themselves beginning to share the signs and symptoms of burnout also. We teach you how to spot the clues that those around you may be headed for a stress related condition.
Months 4-6. You will most likely be feeling empowered and able to view your future with positivity and with a clear path to pursue your goals at this point. Nonetheless during months 3-6 we offer a monthly check-in session with you to help you with any remaining issues that you might encounter. This program does not just hold your hand through burnout recovery, it has the goal of helping you become the person you ultimately want to be. Your newly acquired balanced-thinking process may leave you with questions that these monthly sessions can address.

Everyone is different and every case of burnout is associated with a different combination of symptoms and to a different degree. However, if after following the path that we design with you in this three month program you have not achieved a Wellness Index associated with a happy satisfying life, we will continue to work with you until you do.
Our Stella Banish Burnout program is based on the scientifically validated process as our Supernova program but aimed at helping those in the early stages of burnout or suffering from less intense stress or anxiety.
In this program we also develop three customized coaching components (The 3 Ps) with which we work with you over 60 days. The 3 Ps are:
As with the Supernova program we start by establishing where you are on our Wellbeing Index and use this index to track your progress and help us plan the details of your next steps. We work with you on a weekly basis during months 1 and month 2 and carefully analyze the causes of your stress and monitor the symptoms. Our goal is for you to establish healthy dietary and sleep patterns, and to use Spherical Thinking to establish new neural pathways that can generate positivity, motivation and increased happiness and wellbeing.
In month 2, we work with you in setting long term goals and shorter term, mini-goals for you to work towards between sessions. We also guide you towards establishing fun and satisfying recreational activities some of which will involve light physical exercise, and to prioritize the creation or maintenance of health relationships at home and at work. You will work with us in 'peeling back the onion leaves' to establish your inner drives and desires with the goal of incorporating those into your lifestyle.
As with our Supernova program, everyone has a different tolerance and reaction to stress and anxiety, but our goal is that by the end of this two month program you will be enjoying a dramatically better life than when you joined us.

At the beginning of the program we will agree on a goal for your Wellness Index at the conclusion of the program and if after following the path that we design with you in this two month program you have not achieved that score associated with a happy satisfying life, we will continue to work with you until you do.
These programs are not for everyone. They have been designed around a scientific method and will be delivered by a certified accredited coach that has also been trained in the Spherical Thinking™ methodology. However, they are not designed to be 'done for you' programs in that they require commitment on the part of the client who will be required to participate in the agreed goals and exercises. None of these are arduous, they are designed to be enjoyable, but this path does need to be followed for the program to be successful.
There are types of stress-related illness that are beyond the scope of coaching, for instance PTSD. For this reason entry into either of our Banish Burnout programs require an interview (of typically 1/2 hour) to establish that a prospective client is a suitable candidate for our Spherical Thinking methodology. We do not wish to waste your time or money if we do not believe our program will be 100% successful in guiding you down the path to recovery and happiness.
